Notes

This note was found torn to shreds in an attic by Lara, Walther's best friend, twenty years after Walther's death at the hands of a towering figure. It has since been partially rewritten through conjecture and passed along to Daimon, Walther's frenemy, for safekeeping.

A hulking mass of flesh accumulated by the many beings it strikes down with its unruly fists. Such immense muscle mass contributes to its ability to carry stones of sediment and fling them at survivors as if it were nothing. A sense of dread and impending doom I had not felt in years engulfed my mind as the rumors I heard in '09 surrounding such a wicked beast were finally confirmed.

I am unsure as to how they are exactly formed, but perhaps it is best left unknown. One shudders to imagine the death and chaos these beasts have wrought across the globe. It is a send from the deepest depths of hell itself. A figure so vulgar, its mere mention brings disdain and quietness to a room once lively.

It is not a matter of victory, it is a matter of survi-...

This note was written by Arthur, Walther's right-hand man, and passed on to Daimon, Walther's frenemy, for safekeeping.

Never.. absolutely never have I see Walther freeze up with fear like this before. God, the memories come flooding back as I write this - taking me back to that fateful July.

The sight of this beast towering over all of us was horrifying. It instilled fear into our designated gunners as some abandoned their vehicle only to get mauled by the infected straggling behind us. I normally am not one to sympathize with deserters, but I could feel for them in that one brief moment.

We all collectively froze in fear as it came charging toward us. It wasn't until Walther snapped out of shock and shouted to fire that we decided to do something. Storms of bullets and rockets from various weaponry loomed overhead as they struck the hulking mass with such viciousness that you'd almost expect to be in a nuclear testing site. Oh god, and the smell of gunpowder filling the air combined with the putrid odor of sweat as they all started running away once their guns malfunctioned.

A sight I shall never forget is that of a beast leaping onto Humvee only to rip it clean in half. Tempered steel guarded by numerous sheets and plates of all sorts of metals instantly snapped in half like a mere twig. Its arms dug into the Earth itself as it lifted up a slab of stone; tossing it at Vincent who narrowly managed to dodge. Daimon was the only one still breathing as he continued to fire off at the hulking beast while Walther scribbled away on his notebook. Just then, bits of shrapnel forced Walther to drop his notes near a waste barrel as we all collectively sped off on our remaining Humvee in the opposite direction. A rescue team comprised of two-hundred men were sent in hours later only to find no corpses remaining.

Seven of us left the encounter shell-shocked. We went in there with seventy men.

Background Story

Its formation, like the other infected before it, is a complete mystery. Its physique allows it to smash through walls with ease as it clears through waves of survivors like it's nothing.

Rumored to be an experiment gone wrong and the direct cause of Human intervention as opposed to a generic mutation, the Tank instills fear in the hearts of those who encounter it passing by on the streets.

You'll have a better chance running away from it than you do gunning it down. Godspeed to you, survivor.

Walkthrough

Tanks. As the name implies, Tanks are devastating, big and tough. The Tank is big shaped and a grey-ish zombie that can create chaos in its wake and throw pure concrete towards its victims, which can, and will, lead to insta-kill if it hits a survivor. Due to its big body, the Tank's shirt cannot be seen so it's considered "ripped-off" from the body mass, but the pants can be seen. They are muscled enough to pack a punch that deals loads of damage towards the survivor and they are unstoppable if they are in a massive group of 3 or more Tanks. They are also a damage sponge, but all Tanks are scared of many things. Some of things are the Minigun, the RPG and the Famas F1. A well time Grenade or Chinalake blast can also fling a Tank off the map. The Tank is considered the devastator class of the game.
